CCAP Open Comments

September 17 – October 31, 2025

The Capital Region Planning Commission (CRPC) invites you to share your thoughts on the draft Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP), also known as Vision Green 2050, for the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).

This CCAP lays out strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen resilience, and support healthier communities across Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes. Your input is a critical part of shaping a plan that reflects local priorities and ensures benefits for all residents.

How Your Comments Will Be Used

  • All comments received between September 17 and October 31, 2025 will be reviewed by CRPC and the project team.

  • Feedback will inform revisions to the draft plan before it is finalized and submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in December 2025.
